We completed a shop unit fit-out for a new branch of the global Spanish clothing chain, Mango. The unit was located inside the grand historical building of the converted Battersea Power Station in London.
We worked alongside the Spanish design team to convert the basic unit from scratch. Tiles and several fittings and finishes integral to the visuals of the Mango brand needed to be imported from Spain.
One of the challenges of this project was that the site had extremely strict rules on who could enter the site and when. Access was granted through an online portal with 48-hour notice in advance This proved difficult as storage in the area was only available at a premium, meaning we had two RCE vans working 24 hours per day depending on what delivery slots were available.
In addition to the long period of notice process for access, there were two different access zones depending on what was being delivered and the size of the vehicle.
