.                                          Another successful project was completed for Adventure Leisure Limited (part of the Burhill Group) during August 2022. Adventure Leisure are the UK’s largest leisure group, with venues situated all over the country. Burhill Group contacted RCE services again after being impressed with our work on another of their large venues in Milton Keynes. Adventure Leisure is known for their particularly creative and high-tech venues and has the highest standards for the quality of their fit-outs.

The project was located in a retail unit on the High Street in Worcester town centre. The brief included a complete strip out and refit, installing a high-spec themed crazy golf venue with games areas including electro darts, pool tables, ping pong and shuffleboard. The venue was also to include a bar and restaurant with eating area.

One particular challenge of this project – as is the case in many pedestrianised high streets and busy shopping centres – was access for deliveries and removal of materials. The access to the loading bay was equally challenging due to the size of the skips we required for the initial strip out and the limited number of veichles allowed in the area at any one time.

The building itself housed other retail units and was constructed circa 1960’s, which meant the loading bays were not designed to accommodate anything bigger than small vans. To overcome these challenges we had to ensure that the skip rotation was quick and efficient, and that deliveries were made in smaller batches on a daily basis to ensure the team were able to keep to a strict schedule of works.

RCE has a technical services background. This also enables us to deliver superior in-house service integration including lighting, electrical features, audio and ventilation systems. With a centralised control system all services within the building were pre-set meaning no input from staff was needed. This ensured all Mr Mulligan’s staff could open up and close down the venue quickly and efficiently.
